It’s well known that collagen is an important part of maintaining the appearance of skin. But this is true not only for the face; a woman’s intimate area is just like the skin on the rest of the body—it will age, shrink, and loosen as the years go by. And with the addition of the hormones released during childbirth and menopause, the condition of the skin will deteriorate even more rapidly.
How it works
The Fotona SP Dynamis Laser System is an erbium-YAG laser that operates at a wavelength of 2940 nm. At this wavelength, the laser is easily absorbed by water for an effect that is many times greater than CO2 lasers, and the optimal gasification results in less heat damage to the skin tissues. Finally, the laser’s photothermal effect helps direct the heat energy into the skin, tightening the upper layers which mechanically tightens the deeper tissue structures. Once the collagen is stimulated to regenerate, the vaginal wall will become noticeably firmer.
