OBSERV: full facial skin imaging sensor
Medical cosmetic issues are often closely related to the overall health of the skin. In fact, many problems with the skin that develop over time originate in the deeper layers that are not visible to the naked eye. OBSERV is a powerful sensor that can make a detailed image and analysis of medical cosmetic issues. Using special patented technology, it can make visible the skin’s deepest layers and the general health condition for a comprehensive diagnosis. In less than 1 minute, dermatologists and beauty consultants can get an understanding of the current and future condition of the skin and provide patients with clear and helpful suggestions.
Outstanding European Quality
Sylton, located in Europe, develops and produces innovative and high quality skin sensors. They have over 20 years experience, extensive key technologies, and have cooperated with global cosmetic brands, R&D departments of drug manufacturers, dermatology institutions, and healthcare professionals so patients can continue to enjoy the latest imaging technology and high quality service.
OBSERV skin imaging modes
sunlight mode
In order to clearly show how the skin looks under natural light, OBSERV A+ uses omnidirectional diffuse lighting to evenly illuminate the entire face. This is a soft and even light with no shadows or sharp lines. This is the foundation for a complete clinical assessment of the skin.
True UV mode
A harmless, low dosage of 365 nm wavelength invisible UV light is used to penetrate the surface of the skin. Skin cells and tissues have a natural ability to take invisible light and transform it into visible fluorescent light, which makes the skin glow. Since the light is produced from within the skin, as opposed to being cast upon it, it allows sebum secretions, loose skin, chromatosis, and other signs of damage or conditions to be clearly visible.
Crossed polarized light mode
Because the surface layers of the skin are quite strong, light is directly reflected off of it which makes it impossible for us to make observations below the surface. The crossed polarized light mode uses a special polarized lens to effectively reduce reflected light, allowing us to clearly observe any uneven skin colorations under the surface or hidden capillary networks under bright skin. The signs of aging become more apparent and irregular skin characteristics below the surface will be brought to light.
Simulated Wood’s light mode
The patented simulated Wood’s light mode lets us understand the distribution of the skin’s protective film from the secretions of the sebum glands. The health of the sebum glands and their level of activity is an important indicator for determining the skin’s condition and level of moisture.
Parallel polarized light mode
The parallel polarized light mode uses a special set of polarized light lenses to reduce the visibility of the characteristics of the skin below the surface, which increases the optical reflection of the surface skin. This makes visible the details of fine lines, pores, and the beginnings of new wrinkles.
Skin color analysis mode
Using faint signs of aging and lines, we can clearly identify subcutaneous problems of uneven skin color resulting from physiological aging and light damage. By magnifying changes in skin color and increasing the contrast, we can distinguish redness and chromatosis resulting from such causes as skin allergies, irritations, and the condition of the blood vessels.
The 5 advantages of an OBSERV skin analysis
The skin sensor allows us to get a clear understanding of the skin’s actual condition, including the distribution of spots and dark pigments. What’s more, the sensor allows us to witness progress as the skin improves, while the sensor’s professional and precise analysis allows for greater trust and peace of mind for the therapist and doctor during treatment.
